Rachel Got a dress and other things....

So Rachel finally found a dress and it is apparently awesome.  Of course I don't know anything about it except that it is white.  We also have found a photographer and are looking for a caterer.  Needless to say, everyone will be ecstatic to find out who is in the top spot for catering.  I think that I have rubbed off on Rachel as she is getting stuff for cheaper than they are supposed to be.  Couponing does pay off!!!!!!

AND the festivities begin..

Saturday night was our engagement party. We had SO much fun!

It meant so much to have everyone there! My siblings and roommate

put a lot of hard work and thought into it and made it a very special evening!

We were given a stick at the beginning of the night and told that we would have to use the stick together for a specific purpose. And THIS is what it was...

Thank you again everyone who made it a wonderful night :)

Welcome to our blog...

So most of you probably know the story by now (flower from our first date, awesome ring, I said yes, the works). We wanted to have this blog so that everyone could keep up with all the plans for the wedding and laugh at us as we try to put this thing together! Or just something to read if you're bored :)

Our first major task will be next week when we have to choose a place! We are meeting with every place we are considering next week, so hopefully we will know something by the end of the month. So as we decide on things, or just need to vent via blog about the madness, you will hear from us! Speaking of madness, please keep us in your prayers as we prepare for the wedding AND being married.
