Apartment

So there is exciting news.  We now have an apartment!!!!  I will post some pictures once it meets Rachel's high standard of cleanliness (which might be a while).  My knees still ache from scrubbing the hardwoods on my hands and knees.  Yay, apartment.....

The hotel information has been confirmed.  The hotel for out of town guests is Hotel Highland.  When you call and make a reservation, please let them know that you are with the Smith/Buie Wedding.  The rates should be $89.00 contemporary and suites at $129.00, plus tax and parking per night.  That is probably as cheap as you can find near Birmingham.

Save the Dates

So after fifteen years of stuffing envelopes, a couple of failed attempts at adress labels, and an uneventful trip to the post office....the Save the Dates have been sent.  This means that more people will be following our blog.  As such, there will be plenty of posts coming up!!!!

Since Will and I are both food people, we had a ball registering! It was our hay day to walk in Williams Sonoma and click that gun to our hearts' content. I have to admit, in the end, I was the one who wimped out. I believe Will could have done it over the next day. Here is a link to each of our registries!

Save the Date!

We have finally gotten in our save the dates! We used www.magnetstreet.com which we would highly recommend! Our cute little mini magnet save the dates came in in just one week! After three hours(phew!),300 of them are stuffed and ready to go!
